Dr. Edith Digwaleu- Kariko from Papua New Guinea, holds a Masters in Health Management and a Masters in International Public Health from the University of New South Wales, Australia. A Medical doctor by profession, Dr. Kariko has experience in health administration and health service delivery in Papua New Guinea, particularly within remote and rural areas.
Now based in Port Moresby Dr. Kariko is a Senior Health Specialist with the World Bank Group, working closely with the government of PNG, NGOs and development partners such as DFAT and the ADB, particularly in the health systems strengthening space.
Previously Dr. Kariko has worked with international NGOs, Papua New Guinea’s National Department of Health and other development partners in the health sector in PNG.
